Dispur

Dispur is the capital of Assam and a satellite district of Guwahati, India's gateway city to the Northeast serving as the commercial hub for the entire northeastern region. The nearby Kamakhya Temple, one of India's most powerful Shakti shrines, draws enormous pilgrimages and the city provides easy access to Kaziranga National Park.
