Junagadh

Junagadh sits at the foot of sacred Girnar Hill, a Jain pilgrimage site requiring a climb of 10,000 steps to reach ancient temples perched at the summit. The city is also home to Uparkot Fort with its ancient Buddhist caves, the exquisitely carved Adi Kadi Vav stepwell, and the famous Emperor Ashoka's rock edicts.
