Rann of Kutch

The Rann of Kutch is one of the world's largest salt flats, transforming into a surreal moonscape of glistening white salt during winter when the water recedes, and home to the spectacular Rann Utsav cultural festival. This extraordinary landscape is also a critical habitat for flamingos, wild asses, and other rare species.
